You need a calculator and you hit Alt+F2 to get the application launcher and wonder why nothing happens until you realize that this function does not exist in Windows. After this incident you point at “Start” -> “Run…”, start the cmd – and enter kcalc.

To be honest, I needed a second or two to see that I was going in the wrong lane at full speed, even after realizing my error the first time…

  1. I get stuck at Alt + F2 in other platforms too 😀 For Windows try Win + r (will open the Run dialog). I was once using a _real_ calculator and was looking for Ctrl + Z 😀
