About Fedora from a Debian perspective

Some days ago I caught a discussion going on at the Fedora Extras e-mail list about the experiences a Debian packager made who now had to use Fedora and started to package RPMs. He was encouraged to describe his experiences and opinions and did so.
Kind of interesting – but as usual with such stuff, you have to be careful: this can easily become flame war territory so don’t get emotional involved, but take advantage of the possibility to read the opinion and experiences from some one who had a look into both worlds. And: don’t feel insulted because someone writes your favourite app sucks because of this and that – it is an opinion, nothing more – and, more important, nothing wrong about it.
