Microsoft Firefox

It is unbelievable: Microsoft has bought Firefox – at least according to this page. And the page is made pretty well: there is an advertisement video done which is very impressive and made me laugh quite often. Also, there are reasons and features given in the descriptions which have a very nice point of view. For example:

Googling Filter
Proactively warns and helps protect you against potential or known fraudulent sites such as, blocks the site and shuts down your computer if necessary. The filter is updated several times per hour using the latest security information from Microsoft.

I also like this one:

At Microsoft, we strive to appear lovable, friendly and helpful…
… because our antitrust ruling conditions forces us to do so…

Someone with much too much time put lots of it into this page – you can even sign up for an email account, although it didn’t work for me:

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Could not execute mail delivery program '/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i' in /home/msfirefo/public_html/mail/includes/functions_smtp.php on line 104

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments. in /home/msfirefo/public_html/mail/compose.send.php on line 295

Doesn’t look like Windows, does it? 😉

I have to admit, this is one of the best Microsoft critics I’ve ever seen – and it reminds me of “Terrorists use Linux”. 🙂
